M.P. Colin Carrie Visits Durham College to Deliver Speech on Tax Savings and Hold Roundtable Discussion With Taxpayers on Behalf of Minister Keith Ashfield


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 19, 2011) - On January 20, 2011, Oshawa M.P. Colin Carrie will be in Whitby, Ontario, to deliver a speech at Durham College and participate in a roundtable discussion on economic issues on behalf of the Honourable Keith Ashfield, Minister of National Revenue, Minister of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and Minister of the Atlantic Gateway. The roundtable discussion is part of a series of economic consultations with taxpayers across the country. Mr. Carrie will report back to the Minister of Finance on what taxpayers told him at the roundtable.

Mr. Carrie will also take the opportunity to remind Canadians of existing tax credits for which they might be eligible.
