Mr. Rooter® Plumbing Seattle Gives Back

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - February 3, 2011) -  Mr. Rooter® Plumbing of Seattle partnered with the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Western Washington & Alaska (RMHC) last month to sponsor a Holiday Food Drive which raised non-perishable food items to benefit the residents of "The House."

The food donated by the Mr. Rooter Seattle plumbing company was valued at over $1000.00 and was dispersed to the families of seriously ill children undergoing medical treatment at the Children's Hospital. Over 28 Mr. Rooter Plumbing Seattle employees participated in the event as well as many Mr. Rooter Plumbing customers. A discount for Seattle, King and Snohomish county plumbing services was offered in exchange for a contribution to the Food Drive; plumbing technicians picked up food donations all over town while making service calls.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing Seattle President, Vinnie Sposari, stated, "At Mr. Rooter our goal is to not only take great care of our customers but also to give back to the community; donating our time to the Ronald McDonald House is one way we do this. Having the food drive allowed our customers to participate in a great cause as well."
