MuleSoft Signs Agreement With flydubai

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Aug 9, 2016) - MuleSoft, provider of the leading platform for building application networks, today announced it has signed an agreement with flydubai for the Dubai-based airline to use MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform™ to support its network growth. MuleSoft's hybrid integration platform will enable flydubai to significantly reduce the amount of time it takes the airline to launch new products and innovations.

Since its launch in 2009, flydubai has created a network of more than 85 destinations in 43 countries, including 59 cities that were previously underserved or that did not have direct air links to Dubai.

MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform is a complete solution for API-connectivity that creates a seamless application network of apps, data, and devices, both on premises and in the cloud. The implementation of the Anypoint Platform will enable flydubai to utilise its existing .NET developer base to build and deploy APIs to pool its data sources together and expand and launch its product offerings.

The implementation of MuleSoft's API-led connectivity approach will integrate with flydubai's customer touchpoints to reduce passenger queues at airports with mobile check-in, introduce passenger tracking inside the terminal to speed up departure gate boarding, and update passenger preferences instantaneously. Flydubai will also be able to bundle its offerings with supplementary services such as rental cars, hotels and adjust prices accordingly.
