Multimedia Nova Corporation: Press Release

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 19, 2007) - Multimedia Nova Corporation (TSX VENTURE:MNC.A) announced today that its broadcasting subsidiary, World Television/Telemonde Inc., received approval on October 11, 2007, from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) for its two digital television applications: World News and Doc TV (WND) Network, and World Television Network/Le Reseau Telemonde Inc. (WTM).

"We view both these services as complementary to each other, and to our core business," says Lori Abittan, President & CEO of Multimedia Nova Corporation. "Canadians have a thirst for this kind of information and programming that is presented in an inclusive format, but is currently unavailable throughout the Canadian television distribution system. We look forward to filling the void."

As stipulated by the CRTC, both digital undertakings must be operational no later than 36 months from the date of the CRTC's decision, unless a request for an extension of time is approved by the Commission before October 11, 2010. Both licenses expire August 31, 2014.

Multimedia Nova Corporation is an integrated Canadian communications enterprise based in Toronto, Ontario.
