Multimedia Platforms Provides Shareholder Update; Web Sessions Across all Platforms Increased 462% Sequentially for the 2015 Third Quarter

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - Dec 1, 2015) - Multimedia Platforms, Inc. (OTCQB: MMPW) ("MMPW" or the "Company"), the only LGBTQ publicly traded media company, is pleased to provide shareholders with an update on web, print and social media analytics across all five LGBT focused media and publishing assets.

LGBT Media and Publishing Sequential Analytics Growth Across All Five LGBT Media and Publishing Assets:

  • Total web sessions or visits for the Florida Agenda, Frontiers Media, FunMaps, Guy Magazine and Next Magazine media and publishing assets increased 462% sequentially for the 2015 third quarter as compared to the 2015 second quarter;
  • Facebook likes increased 216%;
  • Twitter followers increased 131%;
  • Print distribution increased 210%;
  • Total email subscribers increased 143%.

  • Guy Magazine has surpassed its competitors in the South Florida market and taken the #1 spot as the best men's weekly entertainment guide;
  • Acquired NEXT magazine, NYC's premiere and largest circulation gay men's entertainment guide;
  • Acquired Frontiers Media during the third quarter of 2015 giving Multimedia Platforms access to a rich pipeline of quality LGBT digital media, a major footprint on the West Coast including key markets such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palm Springs and San Diego, and major upscale magazine brand;
  • Continued development of WiRLD with targeted launch during the first quarter of 2016;
  • Revenue for the first nine months ended September 30, 2015 totaled approximately $860,000 as compared to approximately $415,000 for the same period the year prior, a increase of 94% year-over-year, mainly attributable to expanded circulation, increased sales efforts, and the inclusion of FunMaps, Next Magazine, Frontiers Media revenues from the date of each acquisition.
