MultiPlan Spreads Holiday Cheer in September

Online Voting Opens for Annual Greeting Card Program

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 17, 2007) - MultiPlan, Inc., the nation's oldest and largest supplier of independent, network-based cost management solutions, today announced it will open online voting for its annual Holiday Card Program beginning on September 17th. Voting will be held at, and will open to the public through September 21st. Winners will be posted on the site on October 8th.

Now in its 12th year, the Holiday Card Program collects drawings from pediatric patients in participating MultiPlan hospitals, and then hosts a public vote for five drawings to be made into holiday greeting cards, courtesy of MultiPlan. All hospitals with patients submitting drawings receive a supply of cards for use in fundraising, at holiday events and to sell in their gift shops. In addition, MultiPlan hosts a party for the children whose drawings were selected.

In addition to the Holiday Card Program, MultiPlan provides participating hospitals with battery-operated cars through its Toy Car Program, and issues grants to qualifying hospitals through its Rural Health Outreach Grant Program.
