LIVERMORE, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 14, 2015) - Wente Family Estates, the oldest continuously-operating family-owned winery in America, is making a significant investment in the future of Murrieta's Well, one of California's original historic estates. Beginning November 30, 2015, the Murrieta's Well tasting room in the Livermore Valley will temporarily close to undergo a renovation designed to enhance the property, guest, bridal and club member experience.
As part of the renovation, the tasting room will now feature a new club exclusive area, expanded tasting area, outdoor seating, full kitchen and improved ADA accessibility throughout the property.

"Murrieta's Well is such a special place nestled in the Livermore Valley. We want to preserve the estate's beautiful charm and build on its rich history while making upgrades to provide enhanced experiences to our club members and guests."
Robbie Meyer recently joined Murrieta's Well as Winemaker and is responsible for ensuring that the vineyards are performing well, and that the wine quality and style showcase the very best of the estate. Meyer focuses on small lot harvesting and blending to ensure the highest quality wine is made every vintage from the Murrieta's Well estate.
During the renovation, Murrieta's Well wines will continue to be available for purchase through the winery's website, www.murrietaswell.com, as well as our call center that will be available to process any orders. For any guests who wish to plan a wedding at Murrieta's Well, they can book now for June 2016.
The tasting room is expected to reopen in May 2016. Club members and guests will be invited to a unique release party to celebrate the culmination of the renovation project and the newly restored estate.
