Music at Leisure: Intimate Settings, Great Music, Dinner With The Musicians

The 'Music at Leisure' weekend series, featuring musicians of international standing in leading UK hotels, announces the coming Season:

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(CCNMatthews - April 11, 2007) - It features two of the outstanding pianists of their generation, Leon McCawley and Noriko Ogawa; the strings of Divertimenti and of The Sacconi String Quartet with guitarist Morgan Szymanski (so the wonderful Schubert C major String Quintet and the glorious Boccherini Fandango Quintet); The Gould Piano Trio and the flute/viola/horn and harp of Arpege.

The historic Lygon Arms in Broadway, the elegant Lainston House near Winchester, and the stunning riverside setting of The Swan at Streatley-on-Thames are once again the venues, with the addition of captivating Cannizaro House in the beautiful Cannizaro Park and Gardens on the edge of Wimbledon Common.

The evenings begin with a black-tie champagne reception followed by a different recital each night, then candlelit dinners for which the musicians join the guests at tables house-party style. All in all a great way to enjoy music - at leisure.
