Musicians Institute Increases Student Enrollment Rates With Leads360 Software

Work Flow Enhancements Enable 60 Percent Faster Response Time to New Student Inquiries

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - September 7, 2010) -   Leads360 today announced that Musicians Institute (MI) has increased enrollment rates with Leads360's enrollment management software. Musicians Institute is now responding to student inquiries more than 60 percent faster than they could solely with their constituent relationship management (CRM) solution. Within the first three months of implementation, Musicians Institute's admissions staff has streamlined admissions processes and enrolled more students.

An accredited member institution of the National Association of the Schools of Music (NASM), Musicians Institute is a college of contemporary music. Located in the heart of Hollywood, Calif., the college opened its doors in 1977 as the Guitar Institute of Technology and transitioned to the Musicians Institute as they added additional programs. Some of the music industry's most renowned artists are graduates of MI, and today the college has more than 1,300 students studying contemporary genres that include rock, Latin, jazz and soul. 

Prior to implementing Leads360's enrollment management solution, MI had a CRM solution in place that supported back-office operations like student records, billing and accounts receivable. However, the college was lacking a system that could help admissions staff to properly manage student inquiries and more efficiently entice prospects to apply. MI had always relied on a number of methods for engaging new students, including online, TV and radio advertising, billboard advertisements, college fairs and word-of-mouth. However, once a student prospect expressed interest in MI, managing their transition from initial inquiry through enrollment was not easy to manage before Leads360.

According to Lou Grasso, Musicians Institute admissions rep, "What we needed was a management tool to help us nurture potential students through the process and convert them into enrolled students."
