Muskoka Award Winning Play Returns for Fall Presentation

Quiet! Bunny Is Still Talking Attention: Arts/Entertainment Editor, Lifestyle Editor, Media Editor, Travel/Tourism Editor MUSKOKA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 14, 2005) - The Muskoka Theatre Project's presentation of Vince Grittani's award-winning play "Quiet! I'm Talking" returns for the autumn.

This production, stars Sharon Sproule (voted one of Canada's most remarkable women in 2004 by Chatelaine Magazine) originally scheduled for the Village of Rosseau, will play at the Port Carling Community Hall, Friday, Sept 30, Sat. Oct 1 @ 8:00 PM and Wed. Oct 5 @ 2:30 PM, then at the Stockey Centre in Parry Sound Oct 7 & 8 @ 8:00 PM.

"Quiet!" was presented earlier in the summer in Muskoka by MTP for a limited run.

Ms. Sproule, herself an award winning actress in her mid 70's, shines in the role of 99 year old eccentric Pittsburgh socialite Bunny Bevington-Smythe. She has been playing to standing ovations throughout Northern Ontario.

The play follows Bunny's life as she divulges her own personal story to invited members of the press at her exclusive Muskoka retreat Finnigan's Point. Grittani has won two awards at competitions in the United States for his character and her story.

Originally written in 2001, Bunny's observations on everything from parenting to war are still pertinent today. "Fear too fuels war…Nations go to war with each other because they are afraid of letting go. Actually...nations don't go to war. Men go to war. The bloody male ego, that is what goes to war….Women must take charge. Of course men will never allow that to happen unless we do it in our underwear while rolling around in mud!"

Next winter Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton will be staging their own production, a fitting location for a woman from America's Steel City.
