Mustang Retains Industry Consultant

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 14, 2005) - Mustang Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MUM) today announced that Brian R. Booth has been retained as a consultant to the Company. Mr. Booth is currently the President and CEO of Lake Shore Gold Corp. and the President of B.R. Booth and Associates Inc. a mineral consulting company. He spent 23 years employed by Inco Limited in various exploration management capacities both in Canada and overseas including Manager of Global Nickel Exploration. As a consultant to Mustang, Mr. Booth brings a wealth of knowledge of the global nickel business and knowledge of the nickel exploration process.

Mustang Minerals Corp. is actively exploring its Maskwa / Mayville Properties located in the Bird River Greenstone Belt approximately 150 northeast of Winnipeg Manitoba. The Maskwa Deposit contains an Open Pit Indicated resource of 5.23 million tonnes grading 0.68% nickel and 0.15% copper and an Underground Indicated resource of 790,000 tonnes grading 1.11% nickel and 0.14% copper.
