Muze Senior Editor Receives Widespread Acclaim for Recent Book

Examination of Handwriting Past and Present Gets Positive Reviews for Substance and Style

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 27, 2009) - Muze Inc., the only independent provider of entertainment information products and discovery services, is celebrating the literary achievements of one of its key team members. Kitty Florey, Muze senior copy editor, released her latest work, "Script and Scribble - The Rise and Fall of Handwriting," to exceptionally positive response.

A few years ago, Florey read an article about the imminent demise of handwriting. She was intrigued and decided to explore the subject further by immersing herself in topical research and interviewing teachers and handwriting aficionados.

"Script and Scribble" is Florey's second non-fiction publication. Her first, "Sister Bernadette's Barking Dog," focused on diagramming sentences and was a huge success. She has been interviewed nationally by both radio and print outlets.

When not writing about language, Florey still surrounds herself with it as senior copy editor at Muze. She is part of a team of entertainment experts that creates and reviews the original editorial in Muze Media Information solutions. "The quality and objectivity of our editorial is what makes the difference at Muze and enriches the experience of our customers," says Florey. "Ensuring the accuracy and excellence of our editorial content has further enhanced the meticulousness that an editor needs. In writing non-fiction, I am able to draw upon the skills I use everyday at Muze to make sense of masses of information."

Muze's editorial includes informative descriptions about video and film, music, video games and books, comprehensive biographies for artists and actors, expert ratings and recommendations. Muze editorial, combined with its normalized commercial metadata and streaming media, enables companies to engage customers, attract subscribers and drive sales of entertainment products. Because editorial is such a key component of the Muze solution, the company strives to ensure the highest level of expertise on its editorial team.

"Kitty is exemplary of the caliber of professionalism and diverse experience that we look for in building our editorial department," says Janice P. Anderson, Chairman and CEO, Muze. "Quality drives quality, which is why Muze is known as a leader in the industry when it comes to entertainment-focused editorial."
