Muzik Nightclub Releases the Following Statement

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 5, 2014) -

"Contrary to reports, there was no shooting at Muzik nightclub. This unfortunate incident occurred some distance away from our premises at 4 a.m., long after Muzik had closed. At the time, there were large numbers of people in the area as a result of the multitude of events on in the city during the long weekend. There was never any threat to Muzik's guests or staff. The evening at Muzik was safe and incident free. The safety and security of our guests and staff is a top priority. In addition to our professional security team we regularly hire paid-duty Toronto police officers, who were on premises last night and this morning."
