MV Multi-Trap(R) Vacuum Pump Inlet Trap Removes Monomers, Polymers, Wax and Binders

NORTH BILLERICA, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 25, 2013) - MV Products has introduced a high capacity, multiple stage vacuum inlet trap that is ideal for protecting vacuum pumps used for the extrusion of metals, plastics, and composites.

The MV Multi-Trap® Vacuum Inlet Trap features all-stainless steel construction with a baffle knockdown stage, two stages of user selectable filters, and a cooling option to facilitate the removal of condensable materials. Capable of removing monomers, polymers, wax, and binder material from the gas stream, this inlet trap condenses, collects, absorbs, and neutralizes high volumes of extrusion byproducts to prevent vacuum pump failure.

Suitable for binder removal in the metal injection molding process, vacuum casting and impregnation, and in extruder vents, the MV Multi-Trap® Vacuum Inlet Trap is available with activated alumina or charcoal filter elements for vapors, Sodasorb®, and other specialized filter elements. Designed for handling vacuum pumps with capacities up to 2,000 CFM, 10", 12", and 16" dia. models are offered with various port options. They can also be stacked if required.

MV Multi-Trap® Vacuum Inlet Traps are priced from $2,495.00 (list), depending upon size and configuration. Quotations are provided upon request.
