Mvox Solutions Rated "Avaya Compliant" Through Avaya DeveloperConnection

Mvox MV900 and MV100 Speakerphones Tested for Interoperability With Avaya IP Telephony Solutions to Improve Mobile Productivity

CUPERTINO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 11, 2006 -- Mvox Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance, intelligent, hands-free voice interface devices for Bluetooth-enabled phones and PC VoIP applications, today announced that its MV900 and MV100 portable USB/Bluetooth speakerphones have earned Avaya DeveloperConnection compliance by passing stringent testing requirements for full interoperability with Avaya IP telephony solutions.

Mvox is the first company in the smart voice interface device category to pass Avaya compliance testing and to be selected for an Innovator membership. The Avaya DeveloperConnection program is an initiative to develop, market, and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company's investment in its network. The MV900 and MV100 are available through Avaya business distribution channels to serve the growing communication needs of remote and mobile enterprise workers.

As a member of the Avaya DeveloperConnection program, Mvox submitted its intelligent, hands-free, portable speakerphones for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J. There, a team of Avaya engineers developed a comprehensive test plan for Mvox products to verify Avaya compliance. Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-breed capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure -- speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.

The MV900 is the industry's smallest, clearest and loudest Bluetooth and USB dual-mode speakerphone. Designed to facilitate IP telephony applications, it is ideal for use by remote and mobile professionals to make crystal clear, hands-free calls in the office, at home or when on the go. The MV900 integrates Mvox's patent-pending DSP and voice interface technologies and features industry-leading acoustic echo cancellation, full duplex capabilities and advanced Small Array Microphone (SAM)™ technology. It offers voice command dialing and memory presets for true hands-free communication. The 120 dB speaker volume and small array microphone technology allow users to enjoy loud and clear phone conversations even in noisy environments.

The MV100 is the world's smallest USB speakerphone with DSP voice processing technology. It was designed specifically for Internet telephony applications that range from instant messaging to VoIP softphones. The MV100 ensures echo-free, full duplex conversations with high-performance noise suppression, ideal for individual calls or conference calls.
