MWW Group Taps Peter Warrick as Senior Vice President in Corporate Communications Practice

Former Managing Principal of The Weiser Group Brings More Than 15 Years of Domestic and Global Investor Relations, Financial Communications and M&A Experience

A former labor and employment attorney, Warrick has spent the last 15 years providing high-level strategic investor relations, mergers & acquisitions, litigation support, issues management and financial and internal communications counsel to leading corporations and C-suite executives in the U.S. and abroad. In his new role at MWW Group, Warrick will join the management of the firm's corporate communications practice and oversee a number of B2B and financial communications clients.

Most recently, Warrick served as managing principal of The Weiser Group, where he spearheaded corporate communications for such clients as CEMEX and Coca-Cola FEMSA. During his seven-year tenure with The Weiser Group, Warrick's numerous milestones included leading the firm's investor relations practice, developing more than $2 million in new business and serving as communications counsel to CEMEX during its $5.8 billion acquisition of RMC Group p.l.c.

Prior to Weiser, Warrick held a number of leadership positions at public relations firms. As a Vice President with Ketchum Public Relations, Warrick was responsible for day-to-day account management of ITT Industries, CEMEX and FASB, where he handled communications surrounding the succession of the company's highly visible Chairman.

Warrick was also a vice president of corporate communications at Ludgate Communications, Inc. where he managed the firm's New York corporate communications practice, tripling its annual revenue to more than $1 million.

Warrick began his career in public relations as manager, client service/corporate practice at Burson-Marsteller (B-M). During his tenure at B-M, Warrick provided strategic counsel and communications support during the Rockefeller Center Properties' bankruptcy filing, American Home Products' acquisition of American Cyanamid and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft's successful defense of a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed against the firm.

Before entering the public relations field Warrick was a labor and employment attorney at Littler, Mendelson, Fastiff, Tichy & Mathiason; Johnson, Bromberg & Leeds; and Gardere & Wynne.

Warrick holds a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University and a bachelor of arts from Drake University.
