Mxi: KLM Engineering & Maintenance Expands Scope of Maintenix

OTTAWA, CANADA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 25, 2006) - Mxi Technologies announced today an agreement with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines N.V. to expand the scope of their existing Maintenix® environment. This project will include the migration to the latest version of Maintenix and the expansion of the system's footprint to include full Line and Heavy maintenance planning and execution for KLM's A330 fleet.

With Maintenix, KLM will be able to effectively manage the entire maintenance process for the line and heavy maintenance environments. Building on the success of previous efforts, this latest advancement in the Maintenix project will allow KLM to benefit from real-time asset visibility, improved maintenance visit planning, streamlined execution workflow, and flight operations and diagnostics integrations for KLM A330 fleet. By replacing various legacy systems with one integrated solution, KLM will significantly simplify their IT landscape, resulting in more efficient business processes.

"Upgrading to the latest version of Maintenix will allow KLM to take advantage of all the newest capabilities that Maintenix has to offer," said Doug Brouse, Chief Executive Officer for Mxi. "KLM is a major airline with a thriving engineering and maintenance business, and their desire to stay current with their systems demonstrates what a forward-thinking organization they are.
