N-able Technologies Announces $75-Million Investment and Managed Services Market Stimulus Strategy at Global MSP Summit

Industry Leader Unveils Plans to Accelerate Global Market Adoption of Managed Services and Fuel MSP Partner Growth and Profitability by Offering Software Freemiums and Programs Valued at More Than $75 Million

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - October 15, 2009) - Demonstrating its unrivaled commitment to the IT channel, N-able Technologies®, the global leader in remote monitoring and management software for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT departments, today announced it will make a sizable investment in its partner base via new software freemiums and programs valued at more than $75 million.

This market growth strategy and unprecedented investment in the managed services space was unveiled by N-able President and CEO Gavin Garbutt this morning during his keynote address at the company's 2009 Partner Summit "Thriving with Managed Services."

"We are making this massive investment in our channel partners to ignite the worldwide market adoption of managed services and realize our vision to ensure N-able partners are the most successful MSPs in the world," Garbutt told a standing-room audience of top MSPs, technology partners and industry experts gathered for the N-able Summit.

"This new partner enablement strategy, combined with the upcoming launch of our N-central® 7.0 remote monitoring and management platform and our existing e-business training and midmarket program resources, will provide our MSP partners with an outstanding service advantage and lucrative value proposition that will resonate with SMBs (small and midsize businesses) around the globe," said Garbutt.

As part of the new channel investment and partner enablement strategy, all N-able partners with a current N-central maintenance and support subscription will receive a matching number of newly introduced free N-central Essential licenses for all N-central Professional licenses purchased. In addition, for a limited time these N-able partners will receive at no charge an equal amount of new N-able Endpoint Security Manager licenses, valid for one year. These new Endpoint Security Licenses provide N-able partners with a fully integrated and centralized endpoint security module that includes Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Malware, Personal Firewall and Host Intrusion Prevention for Windows devices.

N-able's new Essential licenses provide key remote monitoring and management capabilities for non-critical devices such as asset management, monitoring, and terminal services and web page-based remote control. N-able's new Professional licenses will deliver the #1-rated N-central remote monitoring, management and control feature set plus the integrated Remote Support Manager™ tool and tactical operational reporting.

"With this investment and the launch of N-central 7.0, N-able partners now have the power and technology to seed the market and help businesses of all sizes eliminate excess IT infrastructure, cut IT costs, maximize network uptime and bolster employee productivity while dramatically improving service levels," Garbutt said. "N-central 7.0 will bring forward a paradigm shift in the remote monitoring and management industry by removing the barriers to entry that have prevented the mass proliferation of managed services in the SMB market."

The N-able Partner Summit is being held October 14 - 16 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Additional information on N-able's new N-central 7.0 will be announced next month. General availability is scheduled for December 2009. For more information about N-able Technologies, visit
