N-able Technologies' Mike Cullen Recognized as CRN Channel Chief for Fifth Consecutive Year

Prestigious IT Channel Publication Honors N-able's Vice President of Sales for His Leadership and Dedication to Managed Service Providers Across North America

OTTAWA--(Marketwire - February 23, 2011) -  N-able Technologies®, the global leader in remote network and systems management (NSM) software for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT departments, today announced that its vice president of sales, Mike Cullen, has been named a 2011 Channel Chief by Everything Channel's CRN Magazine.

This is the fifth consecutive year that Cullen has earned recognition on the Channel Chiefs list, which honors those executives in North America who work very closely with the value-added reseller (VAR) and MSP channel to build, promote and execute effective partner programs and strategies.

In 2010, Cullen's leadership and channel expertise played a major factor in N-able's ability to increase adoption of its N-central® NSM platform by 70 percent across the global marketplace. To achieve this level of growth, Cullen and his global team leveraged N-able's 100 percent IT coverage model to spur incremental sales expansion across its existing partner base and attract new prospects. Throughout 2010, this progressive model has helped hundreds of N-able MSP partners successfully manage 100 percent of their customers' IT infrastructure by using a proven, no risk methodology that introduces managed IT services one technology service at a time.

N-able's N-central platform and complementary technologies, as well as the training and education around business acumen and sales offered by N-able's sales and partner development teams, also contributed to the growth and record success of N-able and its MSP partners in 2010.

Cullen and his team were also instrumental in leading the continued growth of N-able's international footprint across Australia, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, the U.K, Brazil and South Africa. Working together, this team also expanded the strength and scope of the N-able MSP Elite Partner Program, which celebrates those partners who not only excel in channel sales, but also give back to the community by sharing their knowledge and expertise.

"Mike is a talented sales leader and industry visionary who has made quite a mark on the global IT channel," says Gavin Garbutt, president and CEO of N-able Technologies. "His passion for excellence and dedication to our channel partners' success make him an excellent choice for Channel Chief and we're thrilled that CRN is once again recognizing Mike with this honor."

This year's Channel Chiefs were chosen by Everything Channel's editorial team based on criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.

"Being named a Channel Chief is one of the most prestigious honors in the IT industry. This year's Channel Chiefs offer tremendous insight into the who's who of the channel," said Kelley Damore, vice president, editorial director, Everything Channel. "Top channel executives consistently ensure that the channel's voice is heard when strategic decisions are being made and continually nurture mutually profitable relationships. We applaud this year's Channel Chiefs for their successful partner programs and strategies."
