N-able Technologies Reports Record High Growth for MSP Partners, Announces 2011 Partner Summit

Combination of N-able's 100% IT Coverage Model, Freemium Strategy and Technology Innovation Renders Impressive Growth for MSP Partners Worldwide

OTTAWA--(Marketwire - Aug 9, 2011) - Demonstrating its continued market expansion and worldwide success, N-able Technologies®, the global leader in remote monitoring and management (RMM) automation software for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT departments, today reported a record-breaking, 18-month growth cycle for its global MSP partner community. The innovator also announced its 2011 Partner Summit will take place Oct. 10 - 14 in Scottsdale, AZ.

"Over the last 18 months, N-able's global MSP partner base has experienced unprecedented growth in both new and incremental business using many of the best practices, tools and technologies we've pioneered and continue to bring to market," says Gavin Garbutt, CEO, N-able Technologies. "We're looking forward to building on this success in the months ahead and sharing additional best practices and technology innovations at our upcoming Summit in Scottsdale."

New Report Showcases Record Growth for N-able Partners
N-able's year-to-date 2011 sales report shows the number of small and mid-size businesses (SMBs) currently under management by N-able's MSP partner base has grown from 22,000 end-users to well over 47,000 end-users -- an increase of nearly 150 percent -- since January 2010. The report also notes the number of devices being managed on a worldwide basis by N-able partners using N-central has grown in excess of 175 percent.

Garbutt attributes much of its MSP partners' unrivaled growth to three distinct global business initiatives: 1) the widespread adoption of N-able's 100% IT coverage sales model 2) N-able's go-to-market freemium sales strategy and 3) the innovator's advanced and highly automated N-central RMM platform and complementary toolsets.

"We've done our homework and invested wisely to ensure our MSPs are well positioned to lead the market and deliver managed IT services to their customers with greater ease, efficiency and profitability," says Garbutt. "At the 2011 N-able Partner Summit we will spotlight many of our partners' successes and introduce a new wave of technology innovation that will deliver an even greater business and technical advantage to our MSP partners worldwide."

N-able Partners Take Full Advantage of Sales Training and Enablement Resources
To date, more than 800 N-able partners and prospects have attended one or more of N-able's 12-part series of business webinars, titled "How to Achieve 100% IT Coverage." Nearly 70 percent of N-able's partner community has leveraged the RMM leader's freemium MSP sales strategy to grow their existing share of wallet with customers and attract new business.

"N-able's freemium model helps us cater to companies and clients that otherwise might not be interested in managed services," says MSP Jurgen van Vliet, CEO, WANBound. "Using N-able's freemium software, we are able to demonstrate the value of managed IT services to our existing clients, as well as prospects, with no risk or hard cost to our business. It's a great 'try before you' sales strategy for new and incremental business."

N-able reports that more than 80 percent of its MSP partner base uses the company's business transformation and technical services including Business e-Training Essentials, Technical e-Training Essentials, Instructor-Led Product Training, Professional Services and Partner Certification training to grow their business and expand their IT services and sales expertise.

"The combination of the N-central platform and N-able's partner development program has transformed our business and made it easier to service the needs of our customers," says Jon Allen, president, Pagoda Technologies.
