MONTREAL--(Marketwire - Oct 24, 2012) - Gearing up for another record-setting year, N-able Technologies today welcomed hundreds of managed service provider (MSP) partners to its 2012 Global Partner Summit, taking place Oct. 24 - 26 in Montreal.
Throughout the two and a half-day, partner-focused and, in many cases, partner-led event, N-able will announce and preview several new offerings and enablement resources. Included in the mix will be the launch and immediate availability of Report Manager 4.0, the most comprehensive remote monitoring and management (RMM) business reporting solution that now integrates with Autotask and ConnectWise for ticket reporting. N-able will also provide a sneak preview of its next generation RMM platform, N-central 9.1, and 2013 product roadmap, including a powerful new mobile device management (MDM) solution.
Highlights of the Summit agenda include panels on "Benchmarking for Profitability" and "Growing Your Business," both led by managed services expert Gary Pica, founder of TruMethods, and "Managed Services Around the World," moderated by Scott Campbell, assistant news editor of CRN.
N-able's CEO Gavin Garbutt is also set to unveil two new freemium initiatives that will help N-able MSP partners eliminate the technology barriers that keep small to midsize businesses (SMBs) from adopting managed services. Garbutt will also share the stage with N-able's Senior Vice President of Sales Mike Cullen to announce the company's new MSP "Super Elite" Partner Group and present the annual Global N-able MSP Partner of the Year Awards.
"We take great pride in the success of our partners, and our relentless focus on technology excellence, combined with our unrivaled freemium strategy and commitment to partner enablement, will continue to generate unmatched success for our MSP partners worldwide," says Garbutt. "We're closing out the year strong with the launch of our game-changing reporting technology, Report Manager 4.0, and setting the stage for our partners to achieve even greater success in 2013 with the launch of N-central 9.1. The best truly is yet to come."
With more than 77,000 unique SMBs now making use of N-central, representing a 405 per cent increase since the launch of the N-central Essential licenses in 2010, and the number of N-able partners buying additional N-central licensing up by more than 80 per cent year over year, "N-able and our MSP partners are well positioned for expanded growth and will continue to lead the industry by every measure," says Garbutt. "The momentum behind N-able's partner base is unstoppable, and the technology innovation, business enablement and technical support they are receiving from us are second to none."
As a testimony to this success, the volume of MSPs switching to N-able from an alternative RMM provider has increased by more than 200 per cent in the past year. Also, in recent months, N-able and its N-central 9.0 platform have been awarded several industry accolades including being named "Best Remote Monitoring and Management Vendor" in the ChannelPro-SMB 2012 Readers' Choice Awards; receiving the prestigious designation of CRN Test Center Approved; and earning a "Most Valuable Product" Award from Redmond magazine. Two additional awards are expected to be formally announced later this month. All of this success combined has resulted in N-able and its partners achieving their biggest year ever, as reported by the company earlier this month.
New Report Manager Module Makes N-central First to Combine RMM and Professional Services Automation (PSA) Data
With the addition of PSA Insight, a new Report Manager 4.0 module, N-able brings to market the first and only RMM reporting solution that combines RMM and PSA data. The new reporting software now captures key metrics on all tickets, giving MSPs a holistic view of each SMB's network and fingertip access to critical profile information for faster analysis.
Integrated with Autotask and ConnectWise, two of the IT industry's leaders in time and expense tracking solutions, Report Manager 4.0 also introduces a new Network Assessment Report designed to help MSPs attract prospects and secure major projects by using N-able's Essential licenses.
"With Report Manager 4.0, MSPs get the most comprehensive RMM business reporting solution available," said Robert Grapes, director of product management for N-able. "It quickly captures metrics on all activities; produces a broad range of custom reports, and allows them to instantly demonstrate their IT value, providing all the insight and services that an expert, on-staff or virtual CIO would offer."
New Freemium Initiatives Focus on Maximizing Partner Growth and Scale
At the foundation of N-able's ongoing freemium campaign are its industry-leading Essential licenses and 100 per cent IT coverage sales and marketing program, which enable partners to capture any outstanding elements of their customers' environments, as well as take a first step into new SMB environments. The new incentives set to be announced at the Summit will extend the Essential freemiums to new partners and also allow any partner purchasing N-central to get up to 5,000 Essential licenses for free for the duration of their relationship with N-able.
"Our number one goal is to help MSPs be more profitable than they've ever been before," said JP Jauvin, President and COO of N-able. "And we're doing that by focusing on what matters most to their customers: 100 per cent IT coverage, proven technology, valuable insight and all the business and technical training they need to succeed."
