N-able Technologies® to Celebrate 10th Anniversary

Managed Services Industry Pioneer Toasts a Decade of Success and Prepares for Explosive Market Growth and Adoption of Managed Services

OTTAWA--(Marketwire - May 17, 2010) -  Industry innovator N-able Technologies®, the global leader in remote monitoring and management (RMM) software for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT departments, will celebrate its 10th year in business on May 26, 2010. The festivities will kick off at 5:30 p.m. at Lago at Dow's Lake Pavilion in Ottawa. Members of the local media and trade press are welcome and encouraged to attend.

N-able was founded by a small group of hi-tech entrepreneurs with a single location and a handful of employees. Over the years, the managed services software pioneer has steadily grown its footprint within North America. It took its award-winning N-central® RMM software abroad in 2007 and opened its first international office in Australia in 2008.

In 2009, N-able radically changed the landscape of the managed services industry with the introduction of its N-central 7.0 technology and an unprecedented $75-million market stimulus offering which included the industry's first freemium RMM software. N-able also expanded its technology alliances with IT heavyweights Cisco, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft and Xerox, and forged new partnerships with emerging and established IT leaders and Master MSPs including APC, LetMeDoIT, NTR Global, Panda, and VaultLogix.

Today, N-able is renowned as a global IT leader in RMM technology, with thousands of channel partners operating in more than 30 countries. Its N-central technology is used by solution providers and MSPs to deliver IT services remotely to 28,000 small and midsize business (SMB) customers, and by IT departments in companies and public sector organizations with 100 to 1,000 employees.

According to N-able co-founder, president and CEO Gavin Garbutt, one of the largest contributors to the company's unrivaled success and record-high customer satisfaction ratings is its industry leading technology and ongoing mission to ensure its channel partners are among the most successful MSPs in the world.

"From the beginning, we have focused our efforts on doing all we can to enable and accelerate the success of our channel partners -- from sales and marketing to technology innovation and business support," says Garbutt. "It's a simple mission that keeps us grounded and allows us to successfully execute against our vision of fueling the proliferation of managed services worldwide and stimulating mass-market adoption across the vast SMB landscape."

N-able's immediate goals are to drive the overall adoption of managed services by making it easier and more lucrative for MSPs to offer 100% IT coverage to all SMB customers, regardless of whether they are break-fix, responsive, proactive or managed. In addition, N-able will continue to expand its global reach and work in tandem with its channel partners to drive greater awareness and demand for its N-central technology within internal IT departments.
