N-able's Mike Cullen Named CRN Channel Chief for Sixth Consecutive Year

IT Channel Publication Recognizes N-able's Vice President of Sales for His Leadership and Dedication to Managed Service Providers Across North America

OTTAWA--(Marketwire - Feb 27, 2012) - N-able Technologies®, the global leader in remote monitoring and management (RMM) automation software for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT departments, today announced its vice president of sales, Mike Cullen, has been named a 2012 Channel Chief by CRN Magazine.

This is the sixth consecutive year that Cullen has earned recognition on CRN's Channel Chiefs list, which honors those executives in North America who work very closely with value-added resellers (VAR) and the MSP community to build, promote and execute effective partner programs and strategies.

In 2011, Cullen led the company's efforts to transition the majority of its MSP partners to N-able's latest N-central platform and gain unprecedented sales momentum with its expanded freemium strategy. N-able's industry-leading sales team also championed the innovator's progressive 100% IT coverage model, empowering hundreds of MSP partners worldwide to successfully manage 100 percent of their customers' IT infrastructure using a proven, no risk methodology that introduces managed IT services one technology service at a time.

Under Cullen's sales and channel leadership, N-able continued to expand its global footprint and onboard new partners while achieving new levels of customer satisfaction across existing MSP relationships. In 2011, the company's international revenue grew to represent nearly 50 percent of its total business. Simultaneously, the number of end-users and devices managed using N-central has doubled year-over-year, and as subscription revenues continue to grow, N-able partners are managing more devices and earning more recurring revenue.

"Mike continues to serve as a visionary in the IT channel, and his influence on the global MSP marketplace is unmistakable," says Gavin Garbutt, president and CEO of N-able Technologies. "Mike's drive and passion for enabling our partners' success helps us generate great momentum in the global marketplace and deliver unbeatable business value and support to our partners. We congratulate him on once again earning this well-deserved recognition from CRN."

"I'm truly honored to be selected as a CRN Channel Chief," says Cullen. "The N-able team is driven to help our MSP partners achieve industry-leading growth, and in 2012, we're on track to guide them through another exceptional year of productivity gains and recurring revenues. By leveraging business-building offerings including our expanded freemium program and MSP Technician Runbook, N-able partners are primed to not only win more business and accelerate profitability, but to also standardize internal processes and enhance IT service delivery for their customers."

For the ninth consecutive year, Channel Chiefs were selected by the CRN editorial team based on channel experience, program innovations, channel-driven revenue and public support for the importance of IT channel sales.

"The 2012 Channel Chiefs list recognizes vendor executives dedicated to driving channel programs in the IT marketplace," says Kelley Damore, VP, editorial director, UBM Channel. "Our annual Channel Chiefs issue is a must-read for IT solution providers evaluating new vendors or looking to expand solution offerings. These are the people, the products and the programs that any savvy solution provider needs to know. We congratulate this year's Channel Chiefs for their stellar record of business innovation and applaud them for their continued dedication to the partner community."

Selected by CRN's editorial staff, the 2012 Channel Chiefs list is featured in the February issue of CRN Magazine and is available online at Cullen's Channel Chief entry can be viewed online at
