NACD Presents Lifetime Achievement Award to Roger T. Harris, Producers Chemical Company

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwired - November 20, 2014) - Today, the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) awarded Roger T. Harris, President of Producers Chemical Company out of Sugar Grove, Illinois and current NACD Chairman, as the recipient of the association's prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. It is only the fourth time in the 43 year history of NACD that this esteemed award has been given.

Roger's long-standing service to the association in a variety of leadership roles has led to new and successful programs within the association and created opportunity for enhanced effectiveness and reach for the association and membership. His tireless commitment to the chemical distribution industry has earned him the respect of his peers and ultimately this award today.

Active in the association for over 20 years, Harris' leadership roles within NACD included Chairman of Government Affairs Committee Chairman, Central Region President, Director-at-Large on the NACD Board of Directors and most recently serving six years on the Executive Committee with the last two as its Chairman.

Producers Chemical Company, Inc. was founded in 1963 as a full-service distributor, providing industrial chemicals and related services in the Chicago area, including northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin, and northwestern Indiana. Producers serves a wide range of industrial customers providing products to paints and coatings, printing and printing inks, metal treatment, water treatment, electronics, recreation, agricultural and municipal industries.
