NAIMA Elects New Chairman and Vice Chairman

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 4, 2007 -- The North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) has elected new officers of its Board of Governors for 2007-2008. Newly elected Chairman, Jeff Brisley, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing of Knauf Insulation, and Vice Chairman, Jeff Rea, Senior Vice President of Johns Manville's Building Products business, assumed leadership January 1.

Jeff Brisley served as Vice Chairman of NAIMA's Board from 2005 to 2006. He replaces Howard Deck of CertainTeed Corporation who remains on the Board. "Jeff has brought a wealth of knowledge and two decades of industry experience to the Board. He will continue to be a strong leader for NAIMA in his new role as Chair," said Ken Mentzer, President and CEO of NAIMA. Brisley will also serve as Chairman of the Executive Committee and as Chairman of the Fiber Glass Steering Committee.

Jeff Rea, who joined the NAIMA Board of Governors and Executive Committee in 2003, will take over as Vice Chairman. "Jeff has been a vital part of NAIMA for many years, bringing diverse experience and leadership to our organization," said Ken Mentzer. "We are delighted to have Jeff as an officer of the Board of Governors." Rea also serves on the Executive and Fiber Glass Steering Committees.


NAIMA is the association for North American manufacturers of fiber glass, rock wool, and slag wool insulation products. Its role is to promote energy efficiency and environmental preservation through the use of fiber glass, rock wool, and slag wool insulation, and to encourage the safe production and use of these materials.
