NAL Energy Corporation Responding to Facility Fire in Saskatchewan

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 30, 2011) - NAL Energy Corporation ("NAL" or the "Corporation") (TSX:NAE) is currently responding to a fire at one of its facilities in Saskatchewan located at 05-13-09-06 W2M which is approximately 90 kilometres northeast of Estevan. NAL's Emergency Response Plan (ERP) has been enacted and NAL field personnel are responding to the situation in coordination with local authorities and regulatory bodies.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2011, NAL was notified of a fire at its Star Valley operations, located approximately 90 kilometres northeast of Estevan. There are no injuries as a result of this incident and local residents have been contacted within the affected area. The cause of the incident is not known and no estimate of the damage is available at this time. NAL is currently focused on containing the situation and ensuring public safety.

This incident impacts the Corporation's daily oil production volumes by approximately 300 barrels per day.
