AUSTIN, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 19, 2006 -- Nano-Proprietary, Inc. (OTCBB: NNPP) announced that its subsidiary Applied Nanotech, Inc. ("ANI") will exhibit at "nanoTX '06" in Dallas, Texas on September 27-28, 2006.

At the conference, ANI will exhibit products and technologies in the areas of:

     Sensors, including hydrogen sensors, solid state carbon monoxide
     sensors, and biosensors based on enzyme coated CNTs.

     Composites with nanomaterials such as CNTs, carbon fibers and
