MONTREAL, CANADA--(Marketwired - Sept. 16, 2014) - NanoXplore, a Montreal-based company specialising in the production and application of graphene and its derivative materials, today announced its newly appointed Advisory Board. Board members include Dr. Cameron Harris, Mr. Denis Labrecque, Dr. Francis Nedvidek, Prof. Federico Rosei, and Mr. Kirk A. Rowe. The advisory board will serve to provide strategic guidance on the company's corporate vision, partnering strategy and technology innovations.

Dr. Cameron Harris earned a PhD at the Royal School of Mines in London, UK. He has held a wide range of technical and executive positions at world leading companies such as Noranda, Kvaerner Metals, H.G. Engineering, Worley Parsons, SNC Lavalin Inc. Dr. Harris has been a Director for Cansolv Technology Inc and for Cansolv Technology Shenzen Inc. He is widely published, holds multiple patents, has been symposium organizer and chair for technical conferences, and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) and a past Director of the Sustainable Chemistry Alliance (SCA).

Mr. Denis Labrecque, President at Norcap Ltd

Mr. Denis Labrecque is the Founder and President of NorCap Canada Ltd., and is a Special Advisor to the President at Aliston Capital. Mr. Labrecque owned and successfully operated a diversified group of manufacturing companies in Canada and United States for nearly 20 years. Since 1990, he has acted as an advisor in the mid-market Merger and Acquisition business and realized some 40 transactions totalling more than $2 billion in value with manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, utility, and services companies. His educational qualifications include a Bachelor's of Business Administration, Major in Finance from UQTR and Electromechanical Engineering (Instrumentation) from Devry Institute of Toronto.

Dr. Francis Nedvidek, CEO at Cube Optics

Dr. Nedvidek serves as Chief Executive Officer of Cube Optics AG and is Chairman of the Executive Management Board. Dr. Nedvidek oversees all marketing, sales and business development activities. His has over two decades of experience spanning technology innovation, product and market development and general management roles. Dr. Nedvidek has held executive positions with corporations in Canada, the USA and Europe including CEO at Photnitech Inc., VP Marketing & Sales at Resonance Photonics Inc., VP Marketing at Von Roll Isola Ltd., and Director, International Marketing & Sales at Leica Optronics Group. Dr. Nedvidek holds a Ph.D. in Laser Physics M.E.Sc. and B.E.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and holds a P. Eng. Designation in Ontario, Canada.

Professor Federico Rosei, INRS-EMT

Dr. Federico Rosei (PhD University of Rome "La Sapienza") has held the Canada Research Chair in Nanostructured Organic and Inorganic Materials since 2003 and is Professor and Director of INRS EMT. He has published over 150 articles in prestigious international journals, and has received numerous awards, including a Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Award from the Alexander von Humboldt foundation and the Rutherford Memorial Medal in Chemistry from the Royal Society of Canada. In 2014 he received the José Vasconcelos World Award of Education from the World Cultural Council. Professor Rosei's list of accomplishments includes the creation of the UNESCO Chair on Materials and Technologies for Energy Conversion, Saving and Storage.

Mr. Kirk A. Rowe, President of Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group

Mr. Kirk A. Rowe serves as the President of Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group of IMP Group International, Inc., and previously served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice- President of Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group at IMP Group International, Inc. where he oversaw the four divisions of the Aviation Group, with over 800 people in 13 locations across Canada and the U.S., all focused towards offering complete general aviation services. Mr. Rowe has also served as a Vice-President of Commercial Services at Innotech-Execaire has held senior positions at several divisions of I.M.P. Group, including Vice-President and General Manager of the group's regional airline. He is a Certified General Accountant and holds a B.Comm from Saint Mary's University.
