Liakos for being appointed on the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee in the In re Abilify (Aripiprazole)) Products Liability Litigation (Case No. 3:16-md02734) by Chief United States District Judge M. Casey Rodgers.
The Order states there were many applications for this multi-district litigation (MDL); however, the Court appointed the MDL leadership roles to those individuals determined to be the most capable of carrying out their assigned duties. The Court's selections were made "based on a comparison among the applications received of relevant MDL experience, taking into account the skills set previously identified as important, and number of cases filed in this MDL."
Jennifer Liakos has been named to numerous other leadership roles for pharmaceutical litigations and will bring that extensive experience to this appointment. Her legal achievement have been industry and peer recognized; she has been deservedly named to the California Super Lawyers list every year since 2011.
