Narus Appoints Dr. Joseph Mancusi as Vice President, Government Solutions
Expert in Defense Technology and Intelligence Programs Joins Narus' Distinguished Team of Executives

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - March 3, 2009) - Narus, Inc., a leader in real-time
traffic intelligence, announced today that Dr. Joseph Mancusi has been
appointed as Vice President, Government Solutions. Mancusi, who has a broad
background in defense and intelligence programs, will be responsible for
the sales and delivery of real-time traffic intelligence solutions for
Narus' U.S. defense, intelligence and government customers.
Immediately prior to joining Narus, Mancusi worked at Booz Allen Hamilton,
leading the defense and intelligence technology communities in technology
development, technology threat analysis and strategic technology
assessment. He also provided technical and scientific guidance to the
Office of Secretary of Defense, the Defense Intelligence Agency, National
Reconnaissance Office, DARPA, the U.S. Armed Services and the Special
Operations Command. Mancusi previously worked at MCNC, a private research
and development company specializing in military and electronics industry
work. While there, Mancusi managed business development, program
management, and focused on projects of direct military relevance in secure
and LPI wireless communications technologies, sensors, and tunable filters.
Mancusi is a member of the National Academies National Research Council
Standing Committee for the Special Operations Command.

Mancusi received his Ph.D from Duke University, his M.S. in from Penn
