(NASDAQ: UNIS) Completes Major Milestone With Construction of Its New Facility

NOTE TO EDITORS: The Following Is an Investment Opinion Being Issued by the IO News Wire.

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 13, 2011) - Unilife Corp. (NASDAQ: UNIS) has completed their new 160,000 square foot (Sq. Ft.) global headquarters in York, Pennsylvania.

The new facility will be able to accommodate the production of 400 million syringes annually, with the capability of adding an additional 100,000 Sq. Ft. to increase production to nearly 1 billion syringes annually. Unilife will begin commercial sales at the new facility in Q2 2011, with a majority of its 170 person workforce operating from the York, Pennsylvania headquarters.

With the new facility and the recent transition from being an Australian entity to a US corporation, Unilife should see substantial growth from its partnership with Sanofi-Aventis, its current discussions with other pharmaceutical industry leaders, and its highly motivated and experienced management team.
