NASE Launches NaseCare

GRAPEVINE, TX--(Marketwire - March 1, 2010) -  Micro-business owners looking for health coverage for themselves and their families have more options thanks to the newly created NaseCare health, life and dental insurance sales agency. NaseCare agents also promote membership in the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE), the premier membership organization supporting micro-businesses across the country.

The new sales and insurance agency is licensed to sell in 36 states, to date, and increasing weekly. Carrier options through NaseCare include UnitedHealthOne, Assurant, AIG, Humana, Anthem and World Insurance. Plans for expansion include nationwide licensing with additional health carriers.

"For 29 years, the NASE has used outside sales organizations to spread the association's mission of bringing benefits, education and legislative advocacy to America's micro-businesses, to great effect," said NASE president Robert Hughes. "Teaming with NaseCare gives us a closer relationship to the sales process, and more flexibility over the benefits and services we offer."

The NaseCare team is headed up by Scott Scribner as Chief Executive Officer, Chuck Taggart as President and Barbara Scribner as Executive Director.

Scott Scribner is a former bank CEO and brings to NaseCare a long history of successful business management and team building. Most recently, Scribner served as CEO/Team Leader of Keller Williams, Plano, Texas, one of the largest Keller Williams franchises in the United States with over 230 staff and sales agents. Scribner will oversee the operation of NaseCare with the mission of delivering exceptional insurance products to customers via the best sales force in the industry.

"This new initiative for the NASE is truly a new opportunity for small-business owners. NaseCare is committed to helping the self-employed and individuals meet their health insurance needs with broader options from exceptional health care providers," said Scott Scribner.

Taggart, P.E., comes to NaseCare by way of environmental/software engineering and insurance sales. He used his engineering background to develop a proprietary leads and sales management tool that helped propel him to over $3 million in sales in a single year -- only his fourth year of health insurance sales. As president of NaseCare, Taggart's priorities are the recruitment and training of sales agents throughout the country.

"NaseCare is an insurance agency of professional sales agents looking for the best opportunity in the industry," said Taggart. "It is a company that truly puts the agent first, recognizing that passion, drive and spirit are the qualities that make agents realize their abilities, and rewarding them accordingly."

Barbara Scribner brings to NaseCare an extensive background as a leader in training, performance and innovative productivity coaching programs. With more than 22 years of direct sales experience, management and team building with Kimberly Clark and Keller Williams, Plano, Texas, her accomplishments include top sales production, national sales training panels, leadership on sales advisory boards and councils, business planning, chairing sales and product masterminds, and business and career development. As Executive Director of NaseCare, Scribner will focus on the success and professionalism of the NaseCare team of insurance professional agents nationwide via training, coaching and career development.

"NaseCare is dedicated to providing a comprehensive variety of health insurance options from top tier health care providers to individuals, families, self-employed and small businesses nationwide through its dedicated team of talented, knowledgeable and well-trained sales insurance professionals," said Barbara Scribner.
