National Bank Becomes Presenter of the Bell International Challenge in Quebec City for the Next Three Years

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 15, 2005) - National Bank (TSX:NA) is excited to announce that it will present the next three editions of the Bell International Challenge in Quebec City. Having been associated with this women's tournament for several years, the Bank is hoping to use its role as presenter to reinforce its presence on the Quebec tennis scene and contribute to the sport's expansion.

National Bank is asserting its role more than ever as a major tennis partner. In addition to the Bell Challenge, the Bank is the presenter of the Rogers Cup in Montreal, sponsor of seven new tournaments organized by Tennis Canada and title sponsor of the International Junior Tennis Open in Repentigny.

National Bank is now pleased to also be the presenter of the Bell Challenge, all the more so since the tournament is moving this year to the PEPS at Universite Laval in order to accommodate the growing number of tennis fans. Organized by a dynamic group of people who are passionate about this event, the Bell Challenge is a perfect match for the Bank in its quest to be recognized as a team-mate of tennis in Quebec and a partner dedicated to furthering the sport's popularity.

Tennis is on the upswing right across Quebec, and National Bank is proud to be part of the action!
