National Bank of Canada: Gourmet Day to Benefit West Island Community Shares at the Kirkland Branch

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 17, 2007) - National Bank (TSX:NA) is inviting Montreal's West Island residents to come sample gourmet dishes at its new branch in Kirkland on Saturday, September 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Ticket sales for the event will be donated to West Island Community Shares.

West Island Community Shares is a non-profit community development and fundraising organization that supports West Island community groups in terms of growth, solidarity and resources. All funds raised by Community Shares go directly to these groups, which in turn provide support to one in every five West Island residents.

Employees of the Kirkland branch at 2800 Saint-Charles Boulevard look forward to the public joining them for the event on September 22 as of 10:00 a.m. Tickets are just $10 per person and are on sale now at the branch or can be purchased at the door on the day of the event.
