National Business Group on Health Elects Erik Sossa, PepsiCo Benefits Executive, to Board of Directors


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Jul 9, 2015) -  The National Business Group on Health, a non-profit association of 425 large U.S. employers, announced today the appointment of Erik Sossa, vice president, global benefits and wellness, at PepsiCo, Inc. to its elite board of directors.

In his current role, Sossa is responsible for the design, administration and compliance of PepsiCo's benefits and wellness programs around the world. He began his career at PepsiCo in 1996 and served various roles in the compensation and benefits groups at both PepsiCo and its affiliate, The Pepsi Bottling Group. In those roles, Sossa was responsible for the design, administration and financial management of Pepsi's retirement, health & welfare and executive compensation programs.

Sossa is an Enrolled Actuary under the Joint Board of Enrolled Actuaries. He earned a BS degree in mathematics from Manhattan College.
