National Car Rental Announces 10th Annual "One Two Free" Promotion for Emerald Club Members

Customers Can Earn Additional Free Rental Days by Referring Others to Join the Emerald Club

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwire - Aug 16, 2012) - National Car Rental, the premier car rental brand for frequent airport travelers, is launching its annual One Two Free® Emerald Club promotion. This year marks the tenth consecutive year that National has offered the One Two Free promotion to registered Emerald Club members offering one free rental day for every two qualifying rentals (or two or more days), with no limit on free days earned. The promotion runs from Aug. 20, 2012, through Jan. 31, 2013. 

"From the very beginning, the 'One Two Free' promotion was designed to offer special rewards to our loyal Emerald Club members as a way to say 'thank you' for choosing the National Car Rental brand," said Rob Connors, assistant vice president for National. Customers can join National's Emerald Club at and immediately begin participating in the "One Two Free" promotion. There are no fees to join and new members can begin to enjoy faster service at airports and free upgrades in National's "Emerald Aisle." 

To be eligible for the "One Two Free" promotion, Emerald Club members must register at There is no limit to the number of free days earned between Aug. 20, 2012 and Jan. 31, 2013, and participating members can also earn a free rental day for referring a friend or colleague to the Emerald Club in addition to their standard program rewards for all rentals. Upon registering for the promotion, members can encourage friend referrals by sharing the "One Two Free" registration link via email, Facebook or Twitter.

Emerald Club members can redeem "One Two Free" free rental days between Sept. 10, 2012, and June 15, 2013. Redemption includes up to three free rental days at any time, including weekends. In keeping with the speed and convenience of the Emerald Club rental experience, National notifies participants about their free rental days via email. Free rental days can be redeemed at the rental counter, through the reservation telephone number 1-800-328-1234 or when reserving online via the National website at
