The National Job Fair & Training Expo: Major Sponsorship Renewal with Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 6, 2005) - The National Job Fair & Training Expo is proud to announce the renewal of a major sponsorship agreement with the Government of Ontario, which will be promoting the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities in the Employment & Career Services Pavilion at our seventh edition, scheduled for September 14 and 15, 2005, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The Ontario government will be onsite to connect job seekers with employment and training programs and services including apprenticeship, job-search counselling through Job Connect, services for new Canadians and literacy and basic skills training.

"The Ontario government plays a key role in The National Job Fair & Training Expo, and their continued participation and support are an important part of our success," says Daniel Levesque, president and founder of The National Job Fair & Training Expo. "The general public will have direct and easy access to the Ontario government career services being promoted at their booths. For job and career seekers, it is a special occasion to meet with their professional resources and to benefit from their expertise. They will bring a professional support activity in addition to the many others already provided to the public onsite", adds Levesque.

The involvement of the Government of Ontario, for the fifth consecutive edition, the commitment of title sponsor, major sponsor The Toronto Sun and partners, the continued renewal of most exhibitors and their growing numbers are the best indicators of the quality and value of The National Job Fair & Training Expo in Ontario and in Canada. The September 2005 edition will be the biggest ever with over 115 exhibitors (filling some 130 booths) and 12,000 to 15,000 job and career seekers expected to attend.

The National Job Fair & Training Expo consists of four main pavilions (the Employment Pavilion, the Training & Education Pavilion, the Employment & Career Services Pavilion and the BizLaunch Entrepreneurship Pavilion), the Jobs Avenue, the Retail Avenue, the Internet Area, the Resume Professional Assessment Centre, the Public Presentation Area, the Entrepreneurship Seminar Rooms, the Private Interview Rooms and the Rest Area/Public Restaurant.

The National Job Fair & Training Expo's mission is to play a major role in the Ontario recruitment, career, training and education marketplace by presenting an event twice a year, in spring and fall, that stimulates employment in a dynamic and proactive environment for a vibrant audience of highly motivated and skilled candidates. As the event adapts to the changing conditions of the job market, it recognizes and explores all facets of the job-search process and career development. Our key words are opportunity, synergy and networking.
