National MI's Michael Dirrane Appointed by Massachusetts Governor Baker as Chairman of MassHousing

EMERYVILLE, CA--(Marketwired - November 07, 2016) - National Mortgage Insurance Corporation (National MI), a subsidiary of NMI Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: NMIH), announced that Michael J. Dirrane, senior managing director and chief sales officer of National MI, has been appointed chairman of MassHousing, a Boston-based affordable housing agency. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker made the appointment.

Dirrane leads the nine-member volunteer Board that governs MassHousing, which has provided more than $20 billion for affordable housing over five decades.

He is the longest-serving Board Member in the agency's 50-year history. At the completion of Dirrane's new seven-year term he will have served for 30 years, including 21 years as chairman.
