National Program for CISOs Launches at RSA 2015

A New Program Enables CISOs to Create the Cyber Generation

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 21, 2015) - RSA Conference 2015: LifeJourney™ and the Cyber Innovation Center announced the release of The CISOs For Teachers program under the 501(c)(3) Cyber Teacher Association (www.cyberteacherassociation.org), a member organization that plays a vital role in preparing our future cyber professionals. The collective impact of these resources, combined with proper professional development and passionate teachers, means more students will be able to pursue STEM and cyber degrees and fill the cyber jobs of the future.

CISOs select individual schools, cities or states they would like to support through the non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Teachers then receive access to the Cyber Teacher Toolkit, which is a cloud-based professional development program that infuses cybersecurity into the classrooms.

"This program gives CISOs a leadership position in cybersecurity and helps schools, teachers and students educate themselves with the skills they'll need to inspire, instruct and interact in the cybersecurity career marketplace," remarked Phil Smith, President and COO of LifeJourney.

With the growing need for companies, organizations, and agencies to collaborate in the Cyber industry to battle the threat, The CISOs For Teachers program accelerates the educational playing field by highlighting the nation's business leaders at a national level. "There is not a more important mission than preparing our youth for their future," remarked Malcolm Harkins, Vice President, Chief Security and Privacy Officer, Intel Corporation.
