National Tutoring Association Teams With Testive to Give Members Cutting-Edge Blended Learning Technology

CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwired - October 09, 2013) - With college application rates up and SAT scores dropping, students and parents find themselves looking for affordable ways to improve their educational outcomes. Today, the National Tutoring Association named Testive as its official Test Preparation Technology and will offer discounts on Testive's SAT preparation software to all of its members.

Tetsive and the NTA say that this partnership helps tutors grow their businesses by improving their current offerings and cost-effectively reaching students who want the private tutoring experience for a more modest cost.

"Testive has allowed me to offer a whole range of individualized services to students who haven't traditionally been able to afford private tutoring," said Eric Clark, owner of Quincy Tutoring.

Testive is the only online SAT preparation platform designed to be used in conjunction with a private tutor or small class setting. Testive combines detailed monitoring tools to help tutors keep students on track and adaptive learning algorithms that personalize each student's learning experience on the fly. The system automatically adjusts to a student's ability level and targets content based on the level of difficulty that will help the student improve the fastest.

The National Tutoring Association is the country's oldest and largest association dedicated solely to the advancement of tutors. It offers the only accredited university approved tutor training and certification program in addition to professional development and discounted services via partners to its members.

"We only partner with companies of the highest educational quality and professional integrity. Testive's product is unique in that it seeks to enhance the power of the tutor rather than replace it with a machine. We're excited to bring this and other services to our members that can both help them grow their businesses and improve their educational outcomes," said Dr. Sandi Ayaz, Executive Director of the NTA.

"While many people initially hire tutors for their credentials, educators know that their ability to engage and motivate the student is what really drives success. We've built Testive to help great educators reach more students more effectively and create a better educational experience for everyone involved," said Miro Kazakoff, CEO of Testive and a former test prep tutor himself.
