Nationally Syndicated Radio Program "Generous Life" Shines Spotlight on Causes4Kids.com

Begins Broadcasting on 2,000 Radio Stations Across the United States on Jan. 31

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 28, 2014) - Orange County-based Causes4Kids.com is receiving national attention for its unique crowdfunding platform on which children grades K-12 can raise money to pay for after-school and extracurricular activities by reaching generous people with the means and the heart to help. The founders, Michael Hogan and Eric Kim, will be featured on nationally syndicated radio show "Generous Life." The interview will begin airing on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 and continue broadcasting on more than 2,000 stations across the country throughout February.

"Public education budgets continue to shrink, leaving parents with a growing financial burden to pay for after-school and extracurricular activities that historically were funded by the schools," said Hogan. "No child should miss out on learning and development opportunities due to lack of funds. We are very appreciative of the support that Mike Stickler and Tom Clegg at Generous Life have provided and are hoping many people will tune in to learn more about our new service to help kids."

Causes4Kids.com provides a means for youth, under adult supervision, to raise money so they can pursue their interests even when the cost of doing so surpasses the expendable income in the household. It leverages the growing phenomenon of online crowdfunding, which is the practice of financing projects by raising small amounts of money from large numbers of people.

Potential donors can search the website for causes near and dear to their hearts. For example, a music lover may want to help cultivate the next generation of musicians and search for students in need of money for an instrument or music lessons. It is also possible to search for children with special circumstances such as blindness, deafness or being raised by a single parent. To search causes, please visit http://causes4kids.com/browse-a-cause.

The process of matching financial needs with financial means is simple. If a child needs $75 to buy art supplies, they ask a parent, guardian or relative to help them create a "Cause" to be posted on the Causes4Kids.com website. Once approved, they can then use the free promotional tools to attract donors. They can send emails containing links to the Cause to friends and family; create and print flyers to post or hand out around town; and link their Cause to their social media platforms. And to help match need with means, Causes4Kids.com appeals to the philanthropist in all of us by encouraging everyone to visit the website, browse Causes and donate.

"We hope to empower today's youth with the tools they need to create their future, and live their dreams," Kim said. "In addition to matching financial supporters with a cause, we are hoping youth around the country will log on and create a cause of their own."

Generous Life radio will feature Causes4Kids.com on Friday, January 31st. Listeners who miss the segment can log onto http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/generous-life-radio/. Beginning on Monday, February 3rd, the interview will be distributed via Satellite to all 2,000+ Salem syndication network stations for broadcasting. The segment will be broadcast around the county on various stations subject to their individual programming schedules. The segment will also broadcast on BlogTalk, iTunes, Spreaker, Sound Cloud.
