Nationwide Train Journey of First Nations Bringing Opposition to Enbridge's Northern Gateway Project Stops in Saskatoon

SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - May 2, 2012) - The Yinka Dene Alliance (YDA), a coalition of First Nations from Northern BC, will hold a rally at the Saskatoon stop of their nationwide "Freedom Train" journey at the Saskatoon VIA Rail station on May 3.

The YDA will be greeted in Saskatoon by Saskatchewan First Nations for a welcome ceremony featuring the Calling Bear Dancers and Drummers. A water ceremony will also be held, mixing water from different regions of Canada to symbolize that water connects us all. YDA leaders will be available for comment. The YDA delegation is carrying its message across Canada, directly to Enbridge's corporate leadership at the company's annual shareholders meeting in Toronto on May 9.
