Clairol Selects Natural Instincts Lover in Iowa to Participate in At-Home Hair Color Video

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 15, 2010) - Every day, women around the country turn to how-to videos to take their beauty routines to the next level. From creating smoky eyes to applying self tanner, video tutorials are a trusted source for at-home beauty education. Now, Clairol has given a real woman and Natural Instincts user the opportunity to star in a Natural Instincts how-to video, debuting today on

Real Natural Instincts consumer Victoria, winner of the Natural Instincts Hair Color Contest, is starring in the first Clairol Natural Instincts how-to video. In addition to the online video appearance, Victoria won a trip to New York, a $1,000 shopping spree and a total makeover with celebrity colorist and Clairol Color Director, Marie Robinson.

Victoria, a busy college student from Iowa, loves how quick and easy Natural Instincts is and can fit it into her hectic schedule. Victoria is a double major in International Studies and Cinematography and holds two jobs. "Natural Instincts is more affordable than buying any piece of clothing, but makes me feel completely made over!" says Victoria. "It's the only product I'll use, and I'm excited to share with other women just how easy it is to have healthy-looking and natural-looking color."

The Natural Instincts Hair Color Contest invited women across the country to submit a photo before and after using Natural Instincts and to share how they feel about using the product. Victoria appears in the online video with Clairol Color Director Marie Robinson, demonstrating step-by-step how to color hair at home with Natural Instincts.

"Many women are afraid to color their hair at home, thinking their results won't be as natural looking as they wanted. Education is empowering. By demonstrating with Victoria, a real Natural Instincts user, we can help minimize the fear and show how to get beautiful color in only 10 minutes," says Marie Robinson.
