Natur+L XTD Inc. Receives Financial Support from Government of Canada

SAINT-HYACINTHE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 13, 2013) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm Natur+L XTD Inc. has been granted financial assistance for the acquisition of food processing equipment.

"The Government of Canada believes economic prosperity is achieved through investments like the one Natur+L XTD Inc. is preparing to make to increase its production capabilities," said Minister Lebel.

Founded in 2011, Natur+L XTD Inc. is currently operating at full capacity. The firm's unique pascalization process, the only one of its kind in Canada, uses high pressure to preserve and sterilize foods, thereby ensuring greater freshness and reducing the need for preservatives and other chemical additives.

The funding from Canada Economic Development will serve for the acquisition of new high-pressure pascalization equipment, which will enable the enterprise to raise its productivity and better meet growing customer demand.

Information:

This assistance, granted in the form of a $600,000 repayable financial contribution, has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.
