Nautilus, Inc. Strengthens Commitment to Quality and Innovation Leadership With New Roles for Two Executives

VANCOUVER, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 18, 2007 -- In a step to further strengthen the company's commitment to quality and innovation leadership, Nautilus, Inc. (NYSE: NLS), a pure fitness company, has announced the promotion of manufacturing veteran Mark Meussner to Senior Vice President, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering, and has created a technology leadership role for Pat Warner.

Meussner's expanded role includes global manufacturing and new product engineering, along with the domestic manufacturing and sustaining engineering. Previously, he was Vice President, Domestic Manufacturing, overseeing two facilities, the closure of a third, and leading a sustaining engineering initiative designed to drive out costs while improving quality and consistency. He joined the company in October 2005 as Manager of the company's Tulsa, Okla., cardiovascular equipment facility.

Under Meussner's leadership, the company has achieved significant improvements to plant utilization, customer satisfaction, component supplier quality, warranty experience, and cost takeout. Meussner brings 30 years of experience with Ford Motor Company and its component company Visteon where he managed domestic and international manufacturing.

Meanwhile, Pat Warner will assume a business development role designed to keep Nautilus on the leading edge of product innovation. Warner will research new technologies and partnerships to uncover product innovations, such as leading the company's efforts to secure an important patent portfolio last year. Warner has been at the forefront of new innovations ranging from pioneering group indoor cycling to creating the popular Bowflex® SelectTech® dumbbells.

"We believe these individuals are uniquely qualified to help us achieve the innovation and quality necessary to continue changing the game in health and fitness," said Tim Hawkins, President of Fitness Equipment Business.
