Nautilus Minerals Inc.: Financial Results for the 3rd Quarter Ended September 30, 2007

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 12, 2007) - Nautilus Minerals Inc. (TSX:NUS)(AIM:NUS) (the "Company" or "Nautilus") announces the release of its unaudited consolidated financial results for the 3rd quarter ended September 30, 2007 together with Management's Discussion and Analysis.

3rd Quarter 2007 Highlights:

- US$262 million (Pounds Sterling 125 million(i)) in cash and cash equivalents held on deposit with major banks.

- US$19.2 million (Pounds Sterling 9.2 million) of exploration expenditures during the quarter on the world's largest commercial exploration program for high grade seafloor massive sulphide systems.

- 11 exploration licenses granted in Papua New Guinea.

- Company graduated to TSX.

- World's first commercial seafloor electromagnetic survey of copper-gold sulphides.

- Successful completion of drilling program.
