NAV CANADA Announces President & CEO Transition

OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - September 25, 2015) - NAV CANADA today announced the planned retirement of John W. Crichton as President & CEO, effective December 31, 2015.

John Crichton was the founding Chair of NAV CANADA in 1995; he was named President & CEO in November 1997 after a long career in commercial aviation.

John Crichton was the architect for the design of this unique organization and chiefly responsible for its internationally recognized success," said Marc Courtois, Chair of the Board of Directors of NAV CANADA. "John has earned his retirement and the Board of Directors, Executive Management Committee and all employees wish him well."

John Crichton's many contributions to aviation are well recognized nationally and internationally and most recently when he was named a Member of the Order of Canada.

Mr. Courtois also announced that Neil R. Wilson, current Executive Vice President, Administration & General Counsel, will become President & CEO, effective January 1, 2016. Mr. Wilson joined the Company in 2002, and prior to that he was a partner in a major Canadian law firm, where his experience included establishing NAV CANADA as a private corporation and acquiring Canada's Air Navigation System.
