NavStar Technologies Announces Tremendous Success at Mid-America Trucking Show

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwire - April 4, 2011) - NavStar Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NVSR), a company focused on producing and commercializing products and services for tracking/monitoring and reporting on the location and condition of high value cargo and other assets, is pleased to report an extremely successful experience at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) this past week in Louisville, Kentucky.

"We went to the MATS to introduce to the trucking industry our asset tracking and monitoring products/services with special focus on our EOBR," said N. Douglas Pritt, Chairman & CEO, NavStar Technologies, Inc. "However, we were very surprised and excited by the amount of substantive, detailed relationships we developed during the MATS show."

NavStar was the only exhibitor at the MATS show listed as an EOBR company. As such, over 50 attendees had "circled" booth 66153 on their exhibitor's sheet and came directly to the NavStar booth with EOBR product and services questions. The EOBR activity at the NavStar booth and discussions with several companies about ideas for asset tracking and monitoring applications made the show a huge success.

Fleet managers and owner/operators were interested in the NSTRAK asset tracking monitoring products for both trucks and trailers. Several RV rental companies also stopped by for a demonstration.

Discussions were held with multiple strategic partners concerning the NavStar's asset tracking/monitoring products and software for applications outside the trucking industry. Follow-up appointments will be made to discuss the integration of NavStar products into hardware/software devices of these potential strategic partners.

Meetings were held with FMCSA, as well as several US sales groups that could represent NavStar products and service in the US trucking industry. There was definitely a high of interest in the pending EOBR mandates. Orders from several companies were secured.

In addition to these exciting opportunities, an EOBR trial unit was delivered to a large US Truck Manufacturer. The unit was installed and will be tested in the coming weeks. The US truck manufacturer is considering including EOBRs in the trucks they build for the U.S., Canadian and Mexican markets.

Shareholders will be given a more detailed update in the near future.
