Naxos of America Launches Caprice Records, Estonian Record Productions, Music & Arts and Phaia Music for Distribution in July

FRANKLIN, TN--(Marketwire - Jul 5, 2012) -  The following labels will be launched for distribution by Naxos of America, the #1 independent classical music distributor in North America, in July 2012.

Caprice Records was founded in 1971 and was a part of Concerts Sweden until 2011 when the label was adopted by the governmental agency Music Development and Heritage Sweden. The catalog is comprised of recordings of Swedish music by and with Swedish artists, musicians and composers, and covers a wide spectrum of genres, ranging from classical music, contemporary music and electro acoustic music to jazz, folk- and world music, pop, historical recordings, and music for children.

Estonian Record Productions (http://www.erpmusic.com/) is one of the most versatile Estonian music production companies. Classical music from world-famous conductors to contemporary composers is an important export item for the small country and ERP has become a very important player for the Estonian music scene. Founded in 2001, ERP is not only a record company, it also organizes concerts and festivals, and acts as an artist manager.

Phaia Music is a label focusing on the release of hidden and lost gems of classical music and audiophile recordings. The label specializes in recordings that have either been forgotten in the archives of time or that have knowingly been neglected by the recording industry for being too "niche" to be profitable. Recordings artists include André Navarra, Mikael Rudy, Marie-Claire Alain, amongst others. One of the first major achievements of Phaia is the rerelease of the legendary Orlando Gibbons recording by the Clerkes of Oxenford alongside the Bach Cello Suites from the immortal Andre Navarra.

Music & Arts Programs of America (http://www.musicandarts.com/) is an independent classical and jazz label. Live performances from Casals, Schnabel and other great artists of the past feature in this label's output, as well as the cream of the American jazz tradition.

Naxos of America: Headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville, Naxos of America (http://www.facebook.com/NaxosUSA) is the #1 independent classical music distributor in the U.S. and Canada. Specializing in state-of-the-art distribution, marketing and promotion, Naxos of America distributes nearly 32,000 SKUs to traditional brick and mortar retail, as well as offering a comprehensive suite of services tailored to consumer direct fulfillment.
