NCPDP Announces New Keynote for Its 2012 Annual Conference: Blue Angel, John Foley

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - Apr 12, 2012) - The National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP), a not-for-profit pharmacy standards development organization, announced today John Foley, motivational speaker and former lead solo pilot for the Blue Angels, will replace Bill Geist as keynote speaker at its 2012 Annual Technology & Business Conference May 6-10, 2012 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. Geist is unable to attend the conference due to an upcoming surgery.

Foley will deliver an energizing keynote address, inspiring conference attendees to perform at their highest potential. Through his experience as a Blue Angel, Foley has developed a practical model for living out his message of continuous improvement, thankfulness, and service to others that has successfully catalyzed companies and individuals, engendering a culture of team excellence.

As a pilot, John Foley earned the distinction of a "Top Ten Carrier Pilot" six times before becoming a Blue Angel. Foley graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in mechanical engineering. He holds master's degrees in business management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (as a Sloan Fellow), in international policy studies from Stanford University; and in strategic studies from the Naval War College.
